How to run a TikTok LIVE agency in several markets
An agency that works in more than one market (a country or a TikTok region) should run each market as its own workspace, with its own roster, team, Backstage login, pay rules and currency setting. In CN Creator App one account holds all of an agency's markets as separate workspaces: the owner opens another region from the app, switches between them, and decides what is shared (only the pay rules, copied once when a region is opened) and who works where.
On this page
Written for agency owners and staff. It covers what changes when an agency adds a second market and what the owner has to decide; it does not repeat how to start an agency or how levels and pay work, which have their own pages. Everything said about the app was checked against the app itself. Where something could not be confirmed, this guide says less.
What a market is here
In this guide a market is the country or group of countries your creators are in, as TikTok Backstage files an agency's account: MENA, Türkiye, USA and so on. The website says market and the app says region; they mean the same thing.
An agency that works two markets is still one company, but it has two operations: different creators, often different people looking after them, a Backstage login for each market, and pay terms that may differ. The question this page answers is how to keep those apart without losing sight of the whole.
Why keep each market separate
Mixing markets in one roster and one set of rules is where agencies get lost. These are the reasons to keep them apart:
- Different rosters. A creator belongs to the market they go LIVE in. One roster for two markets makes every filter, every month and every report a mix of two groups.
- Different Backstage logins. Each market is read from the Backstage login that belongs to it. The app checks the region you pick against the region TikTok files the login under, and tells you when they differ.
- Different pay terms. What you agree with creators in one market, and the currency you agree it in, is yours to set per market. Sharing one rule set means a change for one market silently changes the other.
- Different ladders. TikTok's tier table for diamonds is a table for a market. The app keeps each market's own ladder and does not copy the first market's into the second.
- Different people. An agent looks after the creators of one market. Keeping the teams apart means an agent sees the market they work in and nothing else.
- A different clock. Report times, events and daily challenges run on the agency clock of the market they belong to, which starts from that market's own time zone.
How CN Creator App handles several markets
One account, one workspace per region. An agency that works in more than one market is several workspaces on one account, and the owner moves between them from Account, Switch agency or region. The switch is a new session for the same company, so every screen reloads for the region you picked. The region you are in is marked HERE, and the app's own line for the list is: each has its own creators, team and pay rules.
The table sets out what is separate in each market's workspace and who decides it.
| What | In each market workspace | Who decides |
|---|---|---|
| Roster and creators | Each market has its own roster. Creators and team are not copied when a region is opened. | The owner, and the staff the owner assigns |
| Team | Staff join a market through that market's invitation or join code. A person can hold a seat in several markets and switches between them. | The owner |
| Backstage login | Connected per market. Each person with a seat connects their own login there, and the app only reads. | Each person with a seat |
| Pay rules and levels | Start as a copy of the market you open from, then stand on their own: editing one market never changes another. | The owner |
| Level gates and the diamond ladder | TikTok fixes the level gates. The diamond ladder is TikTok's tier table for that market and is not copied. | TikTok |
| Currency setting | Kept in each market's workspace and not copied across. | The owner |
| Agency clock | Each workspace has its own, starting from the market's time zone. | The owner |
| Plan | An extra region has its own plan, shown on Your plan under Extra regions. | The owner |
| Language | Each person's own setting on their phone: English, Arabic or Turkish. It is not tied to a market. | Each person |
What the app does not do is the same in every market: it reads figures from Backstage, works out what each creator is owed under the rules you set, and keeps a ledger you can read but not change. It never takes, sends, holds or processes the money. You pay creators outside the app.
How to open and run a second market
- Get the first market right. Open your agency, choose the region your Backstage account belongs to and connect Backstage. Then set the pay rules the way you want them, because a new region starts from a copy of the rules of the market you are standing in when you open it.
- Open another region. As the owner, go to Account, then Switch agency or region, then Open another region (the app's line under it is: same account, separate workspace). Pick the region in the searchable list. If your country is not listed, choose My region isn't listed and name your country. Only the owner can do this.
- Give the region its plan. An extra region has its own plan. Open Your plan and look under Extra regions: a region without a plan is shown as Add a plan. This guide gives no prices; the app shows what applies to you.
- Connect that market's Backstage login. You are now in the new, empty workspace. On Home, start the guide, pick the region and sign in with the Backstage login for that market. If TikTok files the login under a different region, the app says so, imports nothing and loses nothing: pick the right region and connect again.
- Check the rules, currency and clock. The pay rules arrived as a copy, so read them for this market and change what differs. Set the currency setting and the agency clock for this market, which are not copied.
- Bring in this market's team and creators. From inside this market's workspace, bring creators in by invitation, join link or spreadsheet, and staff by invitation or join code. Give each agent a seat only in the markets they work.
- Switch between markets. Go to Account, then Switch agency or region, and tap a region. The one you are in is marked HERE. Everything you see belongs to that region until you switch again.
What the owner decides
The app gives each market its own space. How different the markets are is up to the owner.
- One set of pay rules, or one per market. Opening a region copies your rules once; after that they are separate and the app does not keep them in step. Keep them identical by hand if you want one policy, or change them where a market needs something else. The level gates are TikTok's; you set what each level pays.
- Who manages which market. Only the owner opens a market. Staff work in the markets where the owner gave them a seat, and see only those. You also choose whose Backstage login is connected in each market, and whether each agent can see pay.
- Which currency each market reads in. The currency setting is per market. The owner states the rate that applies there.
- Which language each market works in. The app's screens follow each person's own language setting (English, Arabic with a full right-to-left layout, or Turkish). What language you write announcements and agreements in for a market is the owner's call.
- Whether to open a market at all. If every creator is in one TikTok market, one workspace is enough. Open a second when you have creators, a team or a Backstage login that belong to another market.
What each person sees in each market
- Owner. Sees every market in the list under Where you are working, one at a time. The figures on screen belong to the region marked HERE.
- Agent. Sees only the markets where the owner gave them a seat, and the creators assigned to them in each. An agent cannot open a new market. What an agent sees about pay is set per person.
- Creator. Sees their own figures, level and share in the market they are on. A creator who is on two rosters of the same agency, in different markets, has different figures in each and can switch from their profile.
Decision checklist before you open a second market
- Do you have creators, a team or a Backstage login that belong to another TikTok market? If not, one workspace is enough.
- Are the pay rules in your first market the ones you want to start the second from? They are copied once, so settle them first.
- Which pay rules differ in the new market, and who will change them there?
- Which currency will the new market read in, and who sets it?
- Who connects the Backstage login for the new market, and is it the login for that market?
- Which agents work in the new market, and do they need a seat in the first one too?
- Which agents should see pay in the new market?
- What language will you use for the new market, and are your announcements and agreements written in it?
- Have you looked at Your plan, under Extra regions, to see what the new region needs?
- Who pays creators in the new market, and how, outside the app?
What TikTok says about markets
TikTok's Creator Networks page describes one application: a LIVE Backstage account, your company's documents and TikTok's review. It says nothing about applying separately for each region or market, and nothing about how many markets an agency may work. So this guide states no TikTok rule about markets. Check TikTok's current page and your own LIVE Backstage account.
What the app does with markets is the app's own design: it files each workspace under a region and checks that region against the one TikTok files your login under.

Questions agencies ask
Should an agency that works in several markets use separate workspaces?
Yes, if each market has its own creators, team, Backstage login or pay terms. Separate workspaces mean one market's roster, rules and figures never mix with another's. If all your creators are in one TikTok market, one workspace is enough.
How does CN Creator App handle several markets?
One account holds the agency's markets as separate workspaces. Each has its own creators, team, Backstage login, pay rules, currency setting and agency clock. The owner opens another region from the app and switches between regions from Account, Switch agency or region.
How do I add a second market in CN Creator App?
As the owner, go to Account, then Switch agency or region, then Open another region, and pick the region from the list. Then connect that market's Backstage login, check the pay rules, currency and clock, and bring in its team and creators. An extra region has its own plan, shown on Your plan.
Are my pay rules shared between markets?
No. Opening a region copies your pay rules once, and after that each market's rules are its own: editing one does not change the other. Creators, team, the rewards menu and TikTok's diamond ladder for the market are not copied. TikTok fixes the level gates and the owner sets what each level pays.
Can I use a different currency in each market?
Yes. The currency setting is kept in each market's workspace and is not copied when a region is opened. The owner sets it for each market, with the rate that applies there.
Do I need a separate Backstage login for each market?
Each market connects its own Backstage login, and each person with a seat connects their own. The app checks the region you picked against the region TikTok files the login under. If they differ it says so, imports nothing and loses nothing, and you connect a login for the right market.
Can an agent work in two markets?
Yes, if the owner gives them a seat in each. An agent sees only the markets where they hold a seat, switches between them from Account, and sees the creators assigned to them in each.
Who can open a new market?
Only the owner. An agent, whatever they are allowed to see or do, cannot open a market. Opening one needs no new sign-up.
What if I pick the wrong region?
For a new agency with one market and one login, the app moves it to the region TikTok files your login under after the first read, and tells you. An agency that already has more than one region or login stays where it is, and the app shows a screen explaining that the login is for another region.
Can a creator be in two of my markets?
A creator can be on two rosters of the same agency, in different markets. The figures are separate in each, and the creator switches between them from their profile.
Does each extra region cost something?
An extra region has its own plan, which you find on Your plan under Extra regions. This guide states no prices: the app shows what applies to your agency.
Does CN Creator App move money between markets or pay creators?
No. CN Creator App never takes, sends, holds or processes money, in any market. It works out what each creator is owed under your rules and keeps a ledger you can read but not change. You pay outside the app.
