Step-by-step guide

How to set up a TikTok LIVE PK match with your agency

To set up a TikTok LIVE PK match, a creator opens Official match on Home, taps Request a match, enters the opponent’s TikTok handle and a preferred time and taps Send match request. The agency owner, or an agent allowed to handle requests, finds it under Operations, Official Match, approves or declines it and marks it Complete after the match.

This guide is for TikTok LIVE creators who want a PK match arranged, and for the owners and agents who answer those requests. Every screen name below is the one the app shows (see also what the app does, feature by feature), and everything on this page about the app was checked against the app itself on 2026-11-05. The app is available in English, Arabic and Turkish, and the three editions of this guide use the labels of the matching language.

Key facts

Who can request A creator on your agency, from their own app. Owners and agents answer requests; they do not send them.
What a request holds The opponent’s TikTok handle (required), a preferred time (optional, and it must still be ahead of you) and details (optional).
No opponent yet? Tap Ask my agency to find an opponent. It sends a message to the owners and to your agent. It is not a request, so there is nothing to approve.
Where the creator starts Home, tile Official match (Request a PK match). If your app shows a Tools tab, the tile PK match is there under Ask your agency.
Where the agency answers Operations, row Official Match, under Needs your review. The web console shows the same list under Matches.
Who can decide The owner always, and an agent who has been given the Handle requests permission. An agent sees the requests of creators on their own list.
The statuses Pending, then Approved, then Completed. A request can also be Declined, or Cancelled by the creator while it is still Pending.
What it does not do It does not find the opponent or book the match for you. It keeps the request and the agency’s answer in one place and tells the creator. It never moves money.

For creators: request a PK match

Eight steps. The first six take about a minute; the last two are for following the request and for the case where you have no opponent yet.

  1. Open Official match on Home

On your Home screen, among the tiles, tap Official match. Its line reads Request a PK match. If your agency’s app has a Tools tab, you find the same door there, under Ask your agency, as PK match.

What you should see: The Match requests screen. Your earlier requests are listed on it, and if you have none it says No match requests yet.

Tip: The screenshot shows a creator’s Home in the English app: Official Match is the tile at the top left.

A creator’s Home screen in the English app: four tiles, Official Match, Promotions, Refer a creator (1 going) and Levels, then Your promotions and Events.
  2. Tap Request a match

At the bottom of Match requests, tap Request a match. The button below it, Ask my agency to find an opponent, is for when you have nobody to name yet (step 8).

What you should see: A form headed Request a PK match, with the line “Share the opponent and your preferred time. Your agency confirms the match before it is arranged.”

  3. Enter the opponent’s TikTok handle

Type the opponent’s TikTok handle in the field Opponent TikTok handle. You can leave out the @, and you can paste their TikTok profile link instead.

What you should see: The field accepts a valid handle only. If it does not, it says “Enter a valid TikTok handle.” and the button Send match request stays off.

Tip: Copy the handle from the opponent’s own TikTok profile, so no letter or underscore is lost.

  4. Pick a preferred time

Tap Preferred time and choose the day and hour you want the match. It is optional: leave it empty if you can play at any time. A time that has already passed is not accepted.

What you should see: The time you picked on the field. If you let the form stay open past that time, it says “That time has already passed. Pick a later one.”

  5. Add details

In Details, write anything that helps your agency arrange the match: the opponent’s agency, how long you can stream, what you have agreed with them. The field is optional.

What you should see: Your words in the Details box, which has room for a few lines.

Tip: A request with a time and a line of detail is the easiest one to approve.

  6. Tap Send match request

Check the handle once more and tap Send match request. The request goes straight to your agency, and the owner and your agent are notified.

What you should see: You are back on Match requests with a new card: a trophy, PK match, the opponent’s handle, your preferred time and the status Pending.

  7. Follow the request, or cancel it

Open Match requests whenever you like. Each card shows its status: Pending, Approved, Declined, Completed or Cancelled. You get a notification when your agency answers, such as that your match with the opponent was approved. While a card is still Pending, tap Cancel request to withdraw it.

What you should see: The status on the card changes from Pending to Approved or Declined, and to Completed after the match. A card that is Cancelled stays in the list.

  8. No opponent yet? Ask your agency to find one

If you want a PK match but have nobody to name, tap Ask my agency to find an opponent at the bottom of Match requests. Your owner and your agent get a message that you are looking for a PK opponent. This is a message, not a request.

What you should see: The button changes to Your agency has been asked and switches off. Nothing is added to your list.

Tip: Once your agency has found you an opponent, send the request with the opponent’s handle, so everything stays in one list.

The screenshots use sample creators. The creator’s Home is shown in the English app.

For owners and agents: answer a PK match request

Five steps. The first two are for every owner and agent; answering needs the Handle requests permission, which the owner always has. How to set staff permissions shows where an owner gives it to an agent.

  1. Open Operations, then Official Match

When a creator requests a match you are notified, with the title New match request. Open the Operations tab and tap Official Match, under Needs your review. The row carries an amber count when requests are waiting.

What you should see: The Match requests screen. The row on Operations reads Review PK match requests and give a slot.

The Operations screen: under Needs your review, Join requests, Promotions, Official Match, Rewards catalog and Referrals, and under Publish and set up, Bonus, Payout ledger and Point rules.
  2. Read the request

Requests that need an answer come first, under Waiting for you. Each card shows the creator, the opponent as vs and their handle, the preferred time if there is one, and the creator’s details. Earlier requests sit under Earlier.

What you should see: When nothing is waiting, the screen says All caught up. Nothing is waiting. The screenshot shows an earlier, approved request.

The Match requests screen of an owner: Waiting for you says all caught up, and under Earlier an approved PK match request with its preferred time, from a sample creator, with the buttons Complete and Decline.
  3. Approve or decline

At the bottom of the screen a bar names the next request, for example the creator and PK with the opponent, with the buttons Decline and Approve. You can also use the buttons on each card. Check the opponent and the time, then answer.

What you should see: A short message such as Approved. The creator will see it. The card moves to Earlier with its new status, and the creator is notified at once.

Tip: Decline only when the match cannot happen. The creator sees the status Declined, and can send a new request.

  4. Arrange the match, then tap Complete

Approving records your answer; it does not book the match. Arrange the match with the creator and the other side. After the match, open the approved card and tap Complete. The app asks Mark this match complete? and says to confirm only after the match happened, because it closes the request.

What you should see: The card shows Completed and the creator is notified that the match is done. If the match falls through, tap Decline on the approved card instead.

  5. Answer a creator who asked you to find an opponent

When a creator taps Ask my agency to find an opponent, you are notified with the title A creator wants a match, and it opens Match requests. There is no request to approve yet, because the creator has not named an opponent. Find an opponent with the creator, and ask the creator to send the request with that opponent’s handle.

What you should see: The request then arrives in Waiting for you like any other, and you answer it with Approve or Decline.

The screenshots use sample creators. The creator’s Home is shown in the English app.

You are done when

A creator is done when the request shows Approved and the match has been played, and later Completed. An owner or agent is done when nothing is left under Waiting for you and every match that was played has been marked Complete.

What each status means

StatusWhat it meansWhat can happen next
Pending The request is sent and waits for the agency. Staff: Approve or Decline. The creator: Cancel request.
Approved The agency agreed to the match. Staff: Complete after the match, or Decline.
Completed The match happened and the request is closed. Nothing more to do.
Declined The agency answered no, or the match fell through. Closed. The creator can send a new request.
Cancelled The creator withdrew the request while it was Pending. Closed.

Tips

  • Creators: send the request as early as you can and add a preferred time. A request for tonight with no time is the hardest one to answer.
  • Put the opponent’s agency or contact in Details if you have it. It saves your owner a round of questions.
  • Creators: use Ask my agency to find an opponent only when you have nobody to name. Once you do, send a real request.
  • Owners and agents: answer the request that is waiting at the bottom bar first; the bar always shows the next one.
  • Tap Complete only after the match was played. It closes the request, and the app asks you to confirm for that reason.
  • Agents: if the buttons do not appear on a request, ask the owner to switch on Handle requests for you.
  • If your team uses the web console, the same list is under Matches. There the buttons read Approve, Decline and Mark completed.

Questions creators, owners and agents ask

How do I request a TikTok LIVE PK match in CN Creator App?

Open Official match on Home, tap Request a match, type the opponent’s TikTok handle, pick a preferred time if you want one, add details and tap Send match request. Your agency gets it in one list and you can follow it from Pending to Completed.

What is a PK match, and what is the Official match tile?

A PK match is a head-to-head LIVE contest between two creators, often called a PK battle. In the app, the tile Official match on a creator’s Home is where a creator asks the agency for one, and the row Official Match on the owner’s Operations tab lists those requests.

What do I need to enter to request a PK match?

Only the opponent’s TikTok handle is required. The preferred time and the details are optional. You can type the handle with or without the @ or paste the profile link.

What if I do not have an opponent yet?

Tap Ask my agency to find an opponent on Match requests. Your owner and your agent get a message that you are looking for a PK opponent. It is not a request, so nothing is approved until you send one with an opponent’s handle.

Where do owners and agents see PK match requests?

On the Operations tab, in the row Official Match under Needs your review, with a count of what is waiting. An agent sees the requests of creators on their own list. The web console has the same list under Matches.

Who is allowed to approve or decline a PK match request?

The owner always, and any agent the owner has given the Handle requests permission. The owner switches it on per agent: see how to set staff permissions.

Does approving a request book the PK match on TikTok?

No. Approve records your agency’s answer and tells the creator. You arrange the match with the creator and the other side, and tap Complete after it was played.

What do Pending, Approved, Declined, Completed and Cancelled mean?

Pending means the agency has not answered yet. Approved means the agency agreed. Completed means the match happened and the request is closed. Declined means the agency said no or the match fell through. Cancelled means the creator withdrew it while it was Pending.

Can a creator cancel a PK match request?

Yes, while it is Pending. Open Match requests and tap Cancel request on the card. After the agency has answered, the request can no longer be cancelled by the creator.

How does a creator know the agency answered?

The creator gets a notification, such as that the match with the opponent was approved, is done or was declined, and the card on Match requests shows the new status.

Can I choose a time in the past or leave the time empty?

You can leave the preferred time empty. A time that has already passed is not accepted, and the form asks you to pick a later one.

Where do I see the diamonds from my PK matches?

If your app has the Tools tab, the tile PK earnings opens Diamonds from matches, a page for the month. See also how TikTok LIVE creators check diamonds, hours and level.

Is there an Arabic and a Turkish version of the PK match screens?

Yes. CN Creator App is available in English, Arabic and Turkish. The screen is called Match requests, طلبات المباريات and Maç istekleri, and the creator tile reads Official match, المباراة الرسمية and Resmi maç.
